Little Treat Culture

My favorite thing about being a millennial is LTC.

On top of being a millennial, I’m also a Taurus and we just looooove us a little treat.

Love me some treats so much I’ve started to LTC my way through tasks around the house that I don’t really care to accomplish.

Kind of like my second cup of coffee goal, from a few posts back. Except a little bit more like a boundary with myself?

Example, we have three laundry baskets. I have a LTC that I’m only allowed to start a load of laundry if there’s an empty basket. No cheating either, I’m not allowed to go grab the empty one next to the dryer that’s waiting to catch clean clothes. Nuh uh, I gotta take care of the business that’s going on in one of the two other full baskets.

Okay okay, so another LTC for in the home? Swap a shirt. Any time I get a new piece of clothing, I swap it out for an old piece. This is probably so mind boggling for some folks, but for me less has always been more. I target the garments that I haven’t worn in a year first, then I have to dig deeper and ask myself some hard truths.

LTC but make it water? Got you. I stack myself up with water LTC because water is life giving but also a chore. First h2o LTC, no coffee until half a Stanley (20 oz). Second h2o LTC, no sparking water until two Stanleys.

You get the picture. Treat or boundary, you choose but don’t mock the system. It works.
