Fresh on the needles
Here’s what I’m currently stitching…
A baby blanket for my good friend who, after much longing and waiting, is pregnant with her third baby.
A Christmas tree skirt (this one is on the hook) that I read the pattern wrong, so though it would’ve been done by Christmas, I had to rip it and have lost interest in. In a bag it waits.
Another baby blanket that I started for a friend’s second baby (this baby is turning two in April). I love the colors so much though that I’m planning to finish it for whenever we have our second.
I have a few more black hole projects that I’ve started, tucked away in the depths of my yarn storage bin.
I’d love to hear if you’re working on any fiber art too. Do you like to create for yourself of for others? Are you inspired by a pattern first or the yarn?
We’re still deep in the trenches of home renovations (this brings me so much joy and expression) but I needed to dust off the needles, it had been almost a month. Painting queen by day and fiber bandit by night.

P.S. I’m hosting a Stretch and Stitch workshop at Red Lotus in February for any of my other crafty friends. Gentle yoga followed by working on our projects together. You can sign up for it right here!
