My 2026 Misogi
A miso-what-i? Good question, glad you asked!
About a month ago I was listening to one of my favorite podcasts, Lucky Girl’s Don’t Quit, IYKY. The host started talking about a misogi instead of a New Years resolution, further on she explains that a misogi stems from ancient Asian tradition but has been revamped as a new age way of setting an extreme challenge for the year.
In short, your misogi is one goal that you set for the entire year. One. It is supposed to be a goal so lofty that there’s a 50% change you will fail it because a misogi is about the journey to the goal, rather than reaching the goal itself. Think, deep personal transformation.
Okay, so obviously I’m hooked. Self-help & therapy lover until I die. I am who I am.
*drum roll*
My misogi for 2026 is to blog for 365 days!
*glass shattering in the background* *tires screeching*
